Finding and using the right hashtags is the difference between showing up and not.  So in order for you to get the most out of your TikTok SEO is to find trending hashtags.  People want to go after hashtags that have millions of views so they get into the major streams, the problem with this is you are competing with people who have been doing this for a long time, so you need to find new trends of hashtags to use so you can get exposure on the popular streams. Views Are A Major Factor in TikTok SEO

Getting tons of views in a short amount of time will skyrocket you into the mainstream video feeds.  Remember to post your video as it's released to your other social media platforms such as FaceBook, Twitter, and other places you have followers or an audience as this will help achieve those clicks in a short amount of time.   Also, leverage a website and SEO to push videos as well! Promoting your website in your TikTok video can also be beneficial as you can showcase your other videos on the website and it's a win/win.

To increase your visibility on TikTok, use popular hashtags suited to your offer. Include less used hashtags to target your audience.

Hi there,

 

at first, I want to mention, that the main reason, to get as many views and attention as possible, is still the content. If you have a good content (for example funny videos, informative videos with good explanations, so that even a very specific theme can get the attention of the viewer), then sometimes 2-3 hashtags are enough for the result you want to achieve. But also, like Nate said, hashtags are a main reason. Therefore, it can be said, doesn't matter which is the theme of your video, the hashtags foryou, fy or foryoupage, should always be included, because than it can possibly pop up on every users for you page (That are the videos the user isn't searching for, but just seeing them by scrolling down after opening the application)

And what I forgot to mention: Sometimes it's also the audio of your video. Sometimes a video also goes viral, because other users make videos with the audio of this video using it as a sound, mostly because they find it funny, and that's how a TikTok trend often starts, with a viral sound. And because your video, if the people click on the sound, will be marked as "Original", people, who know only some videos made with your sound, will be interested which is the original video with the original sound and click on your video.
