possibly a stupid question, but...
I have a website that I use Divi for, only a friend of mine added the Divi theme. For some reason, it's asking me to re-enter the API key. The site is generally working, but occasionally goes a bit useless and I just need to sign into the back end and it works again.
So. Question. Even though somebody else linked their Divi package to the site, can I enter a new API key (i.e. mine, connected to my Divi account) and not completely mess up the website??
Does this question even make sense? Hmm. Hopefully. Basically, I want to use my Divi subscription on a website already set up with somebody else's Divi subscription. Please tell me this is easy/possible without the website needing to be recreated...!

You can change the API key without any problems. It's only used for updates and templates!
