The main reason I started doing SEO is because of a couple of reasons, one was I hurt my back and my previous boss had me working in the office and one of my jobs was to vet SEO agencies. During this process, I was like I can do better than most of these agencies. I always speak my mind and actually mentioned this to one of the agencies during a meeting with my boss and they challenged me to do so with one of our locations which I did and the agency actually hired me as a white label provider.
Another reason was that my marriage at the time wasn't going well and I feared for my children to be home alone with the mother. Later on I gained primary custody of my kids and continued down the SEO venture as well as several other projects and now own several businesses.
