Does anyone know if your ranking is affected or confuses google if you have two business locations? I’m setting up citations for both addresses but I am unsure if this is causing conflict. One of the original locations has lost its number 1 position since the new address came about. This could just be a coincidence as focusing on different keywords.
Would love to know if anyone could advise, thanks!

Ensure you have a proper landing page for each location such as /vegas/ /reno/ or whatever city. Another thing to remember is each one needs its own phone number and if you hide the address it won't end well for you if you do more than one location.
Sometimes you will see an initial drop if something is off such as a shared FaceBook or another platform. If they are indeed different locations everything should be unique.
Make sure the citation allows multiple locations as I have found some do not and when you submit the new location sometimes it removes your old one which could cause a drop.
Many corporations have hundreds of listings and do fairly well so it's not because you have multiple listings it's something else that typically is something shared.
