Need some help here: I have a client who wants to delete their GMB profile and create a new one (due to fake reviews/reviews for a service they no longer offer).
In my research, the only way I came across is to mark it permanently closed and then create a new one (but then google can take months to remove it and the entire process is weird).
Is there an easier way to create a new GMB and delete the old one? TIA

So there is a way but it doesn't always work, if it's certain industries like locksmiths or plumbers I would say don't do it.
But if you can make small edits like remove most of the name down to one word, save, remove the website, save, remove phone number save, and then make name 1 letter, save, then remove address by this time it should suspend and will be deleted because it doesn't match any info. Send a new postcard and wallah!
If it doesn't suspend which has happened for me a couple of times that's when you mark it closed it results in the same thing.
