Does Keyword Stuffing Still Work?

So to test if keyword stuffing still works today, I am writing this post about keyword stuffing and going over very briefly what I have explained in other posts.  You have probably heard about how this tactic will get you flagged, banned, and penalized.  But you have seen websites that were keyword stuffing ranking?  None of this makes sense.  That's when I decided I would write this article and use several methods I discussed previously.  The idea behind all of this is to see if I can get this post to rank on Google only using Black Hat strategies and of course keyword stuffing.  Clearly, I am not going to go extreme with the keyword but I am going to use the basic Black Hat SEO method I described earlier, BH links in seconds, as well as automated link tactics using GSA and SEOAP.

Since this topic is pretty black and white there isn't much keyword research needed as you can see it's a pretty low competition keyword.  With that said we should be able to rank for keyword stuffing fairly quickly, that is if it still works!  This is a live case study and as I explained we will be using only free resources such as the link trick to boost DR, DA, and obtain Black Hat links.  So let's jump to the keyword stuffing search volume:

keyword stuffing

What Is Keyword Stuffing?

Well in the Black Hat SEO world it's using the same keyword over and over repeatedly trying to basically twist Google or another search engine's hand to rank that page for that keyword.  In this instance, it's keyword stuffing.  I believe that if it's used over and over with no explanation and used too much it can result in a less favorable position on the web.  But if you use keyword stuffing and don't extremely overdo it sometimes it works.  So with this live case study not only is this page not indexed yet we are going to see if I can get it to rank fairly quickly using only Black Hat strategies and of course keyword stuffing.

It's a very basic old-school method that we used to use back when the old Yahoo search was king.   I have seen my share of new websites that thought keyword stuffing was a great idea and sometimes they rank fairly well and other times not.  But you must admit when it's extreme even the content itself is hard to read.  I literally have seen websites just repeat the keyword in a list, footer, or other areas of the website and they rank!  People in groups, forums, and other articles have suggested reporting them but to no avail, they continue to rank using keyword stuffing.

The Pros & Cons Of Keyword Stuffing

The Cons:

  1. Usually, your content is hard to read or understand.
  2. It looks horrible.
  3. Keyword stuffing provides no value to the reader.
  4. Sometimes it's so bad that the keyword stuffing is pouring out into the universe with no reason to even type it or read it much like this sentence.
  5. If extreme it won't rank and was a total waste of time.
  6. Keyword stuffing is so 1990's.

The Pros:

  1. Sometimes you rank fairly quickly.
  2. You don't have to spend a ton of time researching and writing in detail about a topic because you can just throw that keyword stuffing in there.
  3. When you are lazy, keyword stuffing takes no time at all!
  4. You love turkey stuffing so why not keyword stuffing?
  5. When you woke up this morning you decided why not write an article about keyword stuffing and include all the stuffing and see what happens.
  6. Keyword Stuffing
  7. I am running out of ideas or pros of using keyword stuffing because I don't really think it's a pro and honestly have no idea if this is going to work or not, but this is how you find the best SEO gems is by testing.

So as you can see this is a test and only a test.  Did you hear the emergency broadcasting test in your head?  Because if you did you think like me.  Enough with the rambling let's get back on the topic of keyword stuffing.

I have read it all don't let keyword stuffing kill your SEO, it's considered webspam, spamdexing, and so much more!  But does it work?  If this page ends up ranking which honestly I am unsure whether it will or won't.  This is because I try to use different variations of terms when I am writing about a topic as I want to rank for many different phrases, keywords, and long-tail keywords otherwise known as sentences.

Recently I Had Someone Tell Me:

So a person that their name shall not remain anonymous because I like giving him a hard time but because it is the internet I won't reveal his last name.  So Frank tells me that keyword stuffing works and he will prove it by me choosing any keyword and he will rank it.  Which if you think my article is anything like having 6 thanksgivings and there still is plenty of stuffing leftover then you should have seen his article.  It was keyword stuffed to the max!  My post here used very little keyword stuffing in comparison.  Low and behold he ranked #1 however, he used really good links and it appeared he was using real alt text and many other methods that I know work.  That's when I told Frank I am going to do a post about keyword stuffing and only use simple Black Hat techniques and see what happens.  He's convinced it will rank and I said even with a bunch of keyword stuffing?  He said to make sure you lay on the keyword stuffing extra thick!  I am doing my best to do so, but as I am writing it, it goes against all my instincts.

keyword stuffing

So with that said I think I am laying down the keyword stuffing pretty thick but maybe not as thick as Frank thinks it should be!  What are your predictions?  Do you think this will rank?  Flop?  Nothing will happen?  It won't even index?  Personally, I am very skeptical as I feel I have way overdone the stuffing and it's burned and probably taste like toaster leavings by now.  I am sorry for my satirical writings about keyword stuffing but there is only so much that I can write about based on something I am not a firm believer in.  Even if it does work the real question I would be wondering is if it can convert.  The box should list how many times keyword stuffing was mentioned, that it's probably harmful to your H... I mean SEO and probably should be avoided but as I said the only way I can rule if keyword stuffing works or not is to actually test it out.  I believe it will rank but at the same time, my instincts also say no, no it won't!  Part of me thinks back about automatic link building and how I once sat on the fence thinking here comes the big ol Panda.  Drop some comments if you would like because if I don't see some huge activity growth on this Forum I will be moving the active members to my private Whatsapp and giving them all these dirty secrets and not sharing with the general public.  This means you will have to go buy some $1000 courses or pay $300+ for a private group that probably won't write funny and meaningless sentences as I do.  Enjoy being miserable!  So let your voices be heard!

I am interested to see how this turns out as that honestly is a lot of stuffing!

I really wonder how long and if this will work.... Because lately there is a huge delay in indexing so it might put a damper on your test.  Such as if it doesn't index is it due to spam or is it just taking more time.  If it does index and rank fairly quick then obviously it works.  Super excited to see these results!

Well despite pushing links to it, it didn't respond very well so clearly over stuffing keywords is still a no go.
