How Frequently Should You Post To GMB?

I would recommend not posting more than once per week. If I make a post about “SEO Forum San Francisco” today, I may get a correlated higher GMB result and a featured snippet or quote from my post for the next 7 days for that keyword If I post for another keyword tomorrow, I would interfere with the above possibly and Google would change the salience of its understanding, remove my quote, and possible quote or add a SERP feature for my new post, making my last post less or completely useless. Google themselves recommends one post per week, every 7 days. The only reason people do more is that they are impatient and want to rank multiple keywords faster, but in reality they are slowing down their marketing efforts by over posting to GMB.
